The orientation week (admission week)

The orientation week provides those persons interested in the courses Art Therapy/Fine Arts with the opportunity to receive hands-on information about the contents and structures of the courses. This week is an obligatory part of the admission procedure and ends on the fifth day with an interview. One of the main activities during the week is an artistic assignment. The students’ progress is monitored and assistance provided, and the results added to the individual’s portfolio
The assignment mainly focuses on studies involving objects and nature. Group image reflections serve to deepen the creative work process.
To round the week off, those interested may attend lectures and receive information about student initiatives.

The orientation week takes place Mondays to Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The studio can be used Mondays to Thursdays up to 9:00 p.m. and on Fridays up to 2:00 p.m..
Cost (5 days): € 110.

Please transfer fees prior to the beginning of the orientation week. Fees will not be refunded to persons who break off the orientation week. The costs for the teaching materials are not included in the fees.
A list of overnight stay possibilities is enclosed with the reply to the application.

On the first day, you are requested to attend a welcoming by Mrs Engelhardt in the administration, Am Wiestebruch 68. Following the welcome, the first talk will be held in the Offene Atelier (open studio).
