Study in the green fields – the Fachhochschule Ottersberg

Those students who place emphasis on personal contact with their fellow students and tutors, as well as those who prefer courses tailored to their requirements, will discover that our relatively small Fachhochschule with its flexible self-managed organisation is right up their street.

The Fachhochschule Ottersberg’s facilities are located next to fields and meadows, and some are even in the direct vicinity of a nature reserve. The rural surroundings of Ottersberg, located between the cities of Bremen, Hamburg and Hanover, provide the optimal prerequisites for full-time studies “in the green fields”; whilst at the same the museums, theatres and cinemas to be found in these cities ensure that there is no lack of cultural activities and events. All of these places, and others, within a 100 km radius can be easily and inexpensively reached by our students using their trimester tickets for the regional transport network.
