The Fachhochschule Ottersberg
The Fachhochschule Ottersberg, established in 1967 as a "Independent Fine Arts Study Centre", received state recognition in 1984, and is today one of the some 70 non-state higher education institutes in Germany.
Fachhochschule institutions incorporate a greater practical focus within the academic, scientific or artistic studies than is offered by the traditional university sector.
